Popupsmart pricing: five plans sized by pageviews
Popupsmart has five plans priced by pageviews: Free for 5,000 pageviews a month, then $39, $69, $99 and $159 a month, billed monthly, up to 500,000 pageviews, as read on October 23, 2026. A pageview is one count each time any page of your site loads, whether or not a popup shows, and counts reset on the first day of each month.
Popupsmart's own site lists a Free plan and four paid plans from Basic to Expert, while its Shopify App Store listing shows a Free plan and paid plans called Starter, Basic and Advanced with different annual savings, so check which of the two you are buying on.

Try Popupsmart →Monthly or annual billing: what the annual plan saves
Popupsmart says annual billing saves 20%, but its own annual figures work out to two months free, about 17% off, so read the amount on the checkout screen.
Billed annually, Basic is $32.50 a month ($390 a year) and Expert is $132.50 a month ($1,590 a year). Annual plans are charged once a year, in full when you buy, and paid plans renew automatically for the same billing term.
Overage: $10 per extra 10,000 pageviews and $5 per 500 emails
Auto-extend is a setting on the billing page. Popupsmart says it keeps popups displaying after you use up your pageview or email quota, and it bills the extra. With it on, every additional 10,000 pageviews costs $10 and every extra 500 emails costs $5.
Past 90,000 extra pageviews in a month, the charge is capped at $99 until you reach 250,000 extra pageviews, then it is $99 for each additional 250,000. Every email Popupsmart sends counts toward the email quota, notifications to yourself included. On yearly plans, auto-extend switches off after two consecutive months without paid extra usage.
Above 500,000 pageviews there is no self-serve plan. Popupsmart offers a custom quote or a scheduled meeting.
Which plan fits your busiest month
Pick the plan whose pageview limit covers your busiest month, then count your websites. Websites are capped per plan: 1, 3, 5, 7 and unlimited.
A WordPress blog with about 20,000 monthly pageviews is above the free plan's 5,000 and inside Basic's 50,000: $39 a month billed monthly, or $32.50 a month billed annually ($390 a year), with 3 websites and no Popupsmart branding.
Educators and non-profits can ask Popupsmart for special pricing, and no figure is published. A busy site that shows few popups should also price OptinMonster, whose FAQ says it counts campaign impressions, not every pageview. Popup builder cost per month sets tools side by side on price and meter.
Refunds, renewal and canceling a Popupsmart plan
The terms give 7 days for monthly plans and 15 days for annual plans, and the pricing page words that differently in one box, covered in the Popupsmart review. After you cancel, the terms give no refund for unused time on a subscription.
Upgrades take effect at once, with the unused days of your current plan deducted from the new price. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date. Canceling goes through support, and the terms say that not using the service does not cancel the subscription.
